This past week, we have been posting more mainline media type of stories. Jarod Fogel the subway guy, Underage child bride/mothers, Josh Duggar scandal, Roanoke reporter shooting and the random child abuse stories. So which ones gained the most attention? Which ones angered our followers the most?

"What are your thoughts on Jared Fogel" Posted on August 21st.
Top comment with 27 likes from Rosa - He's getting away with it. These crimes against children should be given a life sentence, because that's exactly what the victims got. At the hands of these evil men the victims have a lifetime of healing and repair to do, and even then they may never believe that they weren't to blame for what happened to them. Anyone who hurts a child should be permanently removed from society. Instead they are slapped on the hand and let go. It's a disgrace. Put this in perspective- the recent release of information from the cheating website has revealed that in countries where homosexuality is punishable by death there were accounts involving people seeking that sort of relationship. Those people now fear for their lives. Here, it has been proven and not denied that Jarod and his accomplice have created child pornography (not just shared it) and they face a little more than a decade (at most) in prison and a dip into his financial fortune. That is very wrong. It is obvious that our country does not value the lives of the truly innocent.
There were also comments on why Family Watchdog would post something like this on our Facebook. This post had 744 clicks. 744 people read further into this post by clicking the link and reading more on the story.

On August 24th we posted a video about a young girl that was raped and had a child. There was mention in the video on how some churches look away from abortion. The reason we posted this (and the links for other young children in history that gave birth) was to bring awareness to child rape, not abortions. So what kind of responses did we get with the 2K post clicks?
Mandy said - "Horrific that a child should have to endure this! But why kill another child--why not put a stop to rape?!"
Lisa said - "I think the Real problem here is The Men who raped the children!!!!"
Shortly after we posted the post, it turned into a religious war. It turned into the supporting/banning of abortion.

August 25th we posted more on the Josh Duggar scandal with Ashley Madison. We asked how/what do you think his wife should say and do.
Once we posted this, people started thinking we had an "agenda" and we shouldn't be posting things like this.

When we post things on our facebook or social media, it isn't always about child abuse, rap, rapists or sexual offenders.
The ones that receive the most response is the ones that are in the Media. And for some reason, whenever it's a post about a child victim, it may only get 3 or 4 comments. But the Duggar post received nearly 40 comments. Why? Why is it that a post with little Johnny from Arizona that was found dead cannot get one share, or little Rebecca from Florida that is missing gets two shares. But a guy that was the face of subway for years does something... he gets 50 shares?
It's time to wake up America. These are our children. This just goes to show that there are predators lurking EVERYWHERE. Just because they are on our site, does not make them any less dangerous. The real danger is the men and women who have not been caught! I read somewhere a while ago that said the average sexual offender offends NINETEEN times before being caught.
It's time we keep our eyes open. It's starting to be the day in age that you must run a background check on anyone that comes in contact with your children. Always trust your gut! If you feel there is something wrong, investigate and report!

Follow us on facebook for ALL kind of news stories. We do not side with any political party or religious belief. Sometimes we do find a story that comes complete with a siding in it. But please be assure, we are not sided to anything besides keeping our children safe!
